Vernon is passionate about working with Black men including deconstructing societal messages of how men should act and behave in order to improve their life experiences and relationships.
Vernon also has a strong passion for working with survivors of sexual violence including men, women, and gender non-binary from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds including adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, members of the LGBTQIA+ or kink communities.
Vernon's goal is to assist his clients in crafting a new narrative for themselves and improve their connection with themselves and others. He enjoys helping clients with understanding their sexual expression, learning more about consent and setting boundaries, and improving intimacy within their relationships.

Vernon received his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from National University where he specialized in Systemic Sex Therapy. He received his Education Doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University where his research focused on the systemic impact of rape culture within the collegiate environment, more specifically fraternity organizations.
Vernon is under the clinical supervision of Sharita Everett, LMFT.
