Cassandra Jones,
MFT

Sex & Family Therapist

I believe the strongest therapeutic relationships are built on partnership. As your therapist, I bring professional experience, practical tools, guidance, and perspective. You bring your experiences, strengths, and willingness to do the work. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your relationships, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, accepted, and understood while also feeling supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

I chose Marriage and Family Therapy because I believe people don't exist in isolation. Our families, relationships, culture, communities, and life experiences all shape how we think, communicate, cope, and connect with others. Sometimes what feels like an individual struggle is influenced by the systems we're part of. Understanding the whole picture allows us to create meaningful, lasting change.

For years, I've helped individuals, couples, families, and organizations navigate conflict and difficult conversations. Those experiences continue to shape my work as a therapist. Conflict isn't something to fear or avoid. It often reveals our needs, fears, values, and patterns. When approached with honesty, curiosity, and the right tools, conflict can become an opportunity for healing, stronger communication, and deeper connection.

Growth happens both in and outside of our sessions. You can expect practical tools, communication exercises, and homework designed to help you apply what we discuss to your everyday life. I'll bring the tools, guidance, and support. You come ready to do the work. Together, we'll build the awareness, confidence, and skills needed to become the best version of yourself.

I welcome individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures, including monogamous, consensually non-monogamous, and kink relationships. My practice is committed to providing an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients while fostering a culturally responsive, judgment-free environment where every client feels valued, understood, and respected.

My professional journey includes a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Master of Science in Education, and doctoral studies as a Ph.D. candidate in General Psychology. In addition, I hold certifications as a Certified Mediator and Conflict Resolution Specialist. I currently practice under the clinical supervision of Arielle Blum, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, while working toward independent licensure in Georgia.
