Aaron West, Intern
MFT Intern
Aaron West is a gay, non-binary therapist who brings personal experience and deep empathy to their work. Their journey into the field of therapy began after navigating many of life’s challenges alone—exploring their sexuality, spiritual beliefs, gender identity, and the process of releasing long-held anger and pain. While these experiences shaped who they are today, Aaron understands the value of having support along the way and is passionate about offering that to others.
Aaron practices structural therapy, focusing on helping clients realign boundaries and establish new frameworks that challenge unhelpful systems. Their work is especially attuned to individuals grappling with issues related to sexuality, gender identity, and self-acceptance. With a compassionate and affirming approach, Aaron creates space for clients to rediscover themselves and build lives that reflect their true identities. Aaron specializes in working with LGBTQIA+, African American, and low self-esteem clients. Aaron provides individual, couples, polyamorous, and family counseling for their clients.
